Since 2009, Monica has been working at the University of Lugano, managing the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences. Her experience includes financial management of the faculty, overseeing budget, performance, forecasts, and reporting. She is responsible for all collaboration agreements and teaching contracts. Additionally, she played a key role in developing a new Master of Medicine program and managed it for five years. Her responsibilities also include recruiting, organizing, and managing the support team, as well as coordinating relationships with partner universities and federal authorities.
From 2008-2009 she worked as a Junior Government and Industry Affairs Manager for 2 years at Zurich Financial Services in Zurich, where she was responsible for the planning, organisation and management of national and international economic and political conferences.
And before that, she worked for 3 years as an Account Manager at KPMG Audit Financial Service in Zurich, where her main tasks included the account management of national and international clients, development of account management processes and global documents in corporate identity, controlling, budget analysis, risk management, yearly reporting and client analysis.
