Prof. Dr. Johanna Gollnhofer is an Associate Professor of Marketing and leads the Institute for Marketing and Customer Insight (IMC-HSG) at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. Additionally, she serves as the Academic Director of the Master in Marketing Management (MiMM-HSG) program. After completing her PhD at the University of St. Gallen, she gained further experience as an Assistant Professor at the University of Southern Denmark.
She is an expert in qualitative approaches to consumer behaviour and primarily focuses on sustainability and digitalization. Her research has been published in prestigious journals such as the Journal of Consumer Research, Organization Studies, and Strategy & Management.
One of her key interests is making academic insights accessible to a wider audience. To this end, she actively participates in executive education programs and frequently contributes to Swiss media outlets.
